Sheila Batson
Sheila’s love of flowers, their fragrance and beauty, is a thread woven through the tapestry of her life. As a child growing up in a southern California suburb, she would return home from neighborhood forays with fistfuls of flowers picked from nearby gardens. As a teen, she was lured to balmy Hawai’i and the beauty of tropical flowers, fragrant leis and beautiful lei po’o became her inspiration. Now back in Southern California, and settled in the Carpinteria Valley with her partner Winfred Van Wingerden, she continues to create art with flowers.
Chloe Woo
Chloe’s love of art began with a kindergarten drawing class at the age of five. This early inspiration was the birth of many creative endeavors, including painting and design. Her murals grace the walls of businesses and private residences from Manhattan to Los Angeles and San Francisco to Carpinteria. Growing up a local girl on the island of Maui, Chloe’s artistic medium reflects her roots with a unique blend of cultures and personal experiences. Organic and expressive, Chloe’s current medium is flowers. Settling near her family in Carpinteria, Chloe has joined forces with her mom in Blossoms & Bouquets and is a driving force in the business.
